NEN is governed by its Trustees, who provide strategic oversight and ensure that the organization operates in accordance with its Trust Deed, applicable laws and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day management is led by NEN’s Operational Leadership, which is responsible for executing the organization’s strategy and managing its operations.
NEN is responsible for its governance, partnerships, financial management, operations, program implementation, compliance and outcomes. It works with educational institutions, entrepreneurs, startups, SMEs, mentors, investors, industry and government partners across India to strengthen entrepreneurship and enterprise development.
Funding
NEN receives funding and support from the Wadhwani Operating Foundation (WOF), the philanthropic funding organization within the Wadhwani Foundation ecosystem, to advance entrepreneurship across India.
This funding and support enables NEN to deliver charitable programs and initiatives aligned with its mission. NEN retains responsibility for its governance, financial management, operations, partnerships, program implementation, compliance and outcomes.
Through this model, NEN contributes to the broader mission of the Wadhwani Foundation of Creating Jobs. Changing Lives. while maintaining its own legal identity and governance.
